Description:
This collection of scripts will assist you to start and manage a commission based affiliates program for your site! Just put the files on your server and start receiving visits!

Affiliates link to you and earn a percentage or fix value commission based on sale they generated.
Example of link for affiliates:
http://www.domain.com/cgi-bin/click.cgi?member_id

You define the percentage of commissions as well the minimum amount to pay.
The script can handle any currency that you define to calculate payments.

• ComAffiliate works as a plug-in for your shopping cart, if you know where to add the call in your actual script. In fact you can replace your thanks page by ComAffiliate script by redirecting to it with the sale value. It can also generates fixed rate commission by redirecting your customer to a final page with a fixed value. This will add a commission to the corresponding affiliate if there was one. Use for that subroutines provided as a library.
• ComAffiliate works also as a standalone solution if you sell one or two products. So, after processing order, just direct to the thanks page (created by the ComAffiliate script) with the value of the sale and the commission wil be added to the affiliate which originated the sale. Use for that a standalone script call. If you have a shopping cart that ends on a redirection to a thanks page, replace your thanks page by a redirection to ComAffiliate script.

• ComAffiliate works also as a Plug-in for External Shopping Carts having an affiliate system setup, in which you can define a code to insert in the checkout. This code is a call to ComAffiliate via an IMG TAG. You can use the IMG TAG on your own shopping cart, in the thanks page. This is the most easy way!

• ComAffiliate and PAYPAL: This script works with paypal if used as single item purchase (or subscriptions) payment processor. If you use Paypal Shopping cart, which is external to your site, you need a IPN tracking solution to be able to link to ComAffiliate. I can provide it to you as an Add-on for 50 USD (+45 USD for installation). Contact-me to discuss about this.

By default, only the first sale will generate a commission. If the client comes back and makes a new purchase, this will not generate another commission, since he already knows your site. But this feature can be easily removed.

E-mail by sendmail or SMTP gateway for NT servers. So works both on UNIX and NT!

Features:

• Redirect link for affiliates with clicks and referral ID saving.
  (ex: http://www.yourserver.com/cgi-bin/click.cgi?member_id)
• Cookies allow referral ID track to calculate commission. Only one commission per sale allowed! Because after we assume that customer knows your site and came directly. This is done by a 2nd cookie assignment.
• A LOG file (sales.txt) keeps a record of all sales promoted by members, for easy follow-up of members activity.
• Works as a plug-in for your actual shopping cart o order system or as a stand-alone as a "calculator" thanks page.
• Sign-up for new affiliate members and email your new affiliate a welcome message with their code.
• stats access for your affiliates members (clickthrough, commissions, payments, etc)
• admin interface to keep track of members (name, e-mails, clicks, commissions, etc.
• Assists you in payments by batch processing of members awaiting payment and printing labels for envelopes
• Payments are recorded on each member log, but the script does not make any monetary transaction. You have to issue payments manually from the list given by the script.
• Allows you to send messages to all of your affiliates (mailing list)
